Councillor Jim Fitzpatrick steps down as HOST trustee after 20 years

Councillor Jim Fitzpatrick has announced he is stepping down after 20 years as chair of Trustees for Home-Start Oldham, Stockport & Tameside.

Jim is a much loved figure across our communities with staff, volunteers and families alike.

Jim has successfully steered HOST to be the thriving charity that it is today, alongside his fellow trustees and led by our CEO, Sarah Cook.

HOST has grown substantially during Jim’s time as trustee, both in terms of the number of staff employed and volunteers recruited to diversifying the projects we have been able to offer to support families.

Jim will make his final appearance at our Family Christmas Party on 14th December, he has been a much loved Father Christmas for many years at our annual Christmas events.

Thank you Jim, your legacy will live on within HOST for years to come.

Please stay in touch and enjoy some well deserved rest!
