Real Life Parenting

Struggling to cope with your children isn’t something that many people feel able to be open and honest about and 6 in 10 parents feel pressure from social media to be the ‘perfect parent’.

We found that 51% said that fears of being seen as a bad parent would hold mums and dads back in asking for help.

Parents are fighting to live up to this image rather than feeling able to look for help from people around them when life gets too much. Not asking for help when it’s needed most can turn a difficult situation into a risky situation.

It’s time to talk about the realities of parenting #RealLifeParenting

No parent should feel unable to ask for help when they’re struggling.

Because childhood can’t wait.
