Our volunteers take part in Love Letters to Oldham Project

A group of our volunteers enjoyed a morning writing letters during yesterday’s group supervision.

The workshop was facilitated by Kirsty Gbasai, Lead Artist working on behalf of Arc Centre & Gallery (in partnership with Gallery Oldham) on a Heritage Lottery funded project named Love Letters to Oldham.

Kirsty, has volunteered for us in the past and got in touch to see if we would like to get involved in the project.

Our volunteers were able to share happy memories of their childhood, growing up in Oldham. They also spent time expressing their wish to make a difference to both the families and the communities across the borough

All of the letters created are being compiled to form a large letter that will be exhibited at the new Heritage centre in 2020.
