36 hours per week

Home-Start Oldham, Stockport and Tameside (HOST) is a registered charity committed to promoting the welfare of families. HOST is working in Bolton to establish and deliver the new PIMH peer support service for parents with children aged 0-2.

We are looking for a new PIMH Co-ordinator to join our team and build on our existing PIMH work in Tameside and Stockport to deliver a new service for parents in Bolton.

The successful candidate will work closely with colleagues from Parent Infant Mental Health Services and from Maternity, Health Visiting, and Children’s Services and with a wide range parents with children aged 0-2. They will be responsible for recruiting, training and managing a team of volunteers and for promoting parent infant mental health across the borough.

An understanding of the risks of developing poor mental health in the 0-2 period, known as 1001 critical days, is essential, as is a flexible approach to work and ability to travel.

The post holder will be expected to travel across Bolton and to attend the main office in Tameside regularly.
