Peer Support Groups
Friendly peer group support for parents and little ones
We hold regular groups at local venues where you and your children can come along and meet other families.
Your children get the chance to play, learn and have fun with other children and with different books and toys. You get the chance to meet and talk to other parents – and many parents discover they are going through the same kinds of experiences and feel less alone.
Our groups are a great place for parents to pick up advice, tips and help from Home-Start staff and volunteers and other parents.
‘With You in Mind’ Perinatal Support Groups
‘With You in Mind’ is our perinatal peer support group. Come and join a supportive network of parents and their little ones. The sessions offer a welcoming space for you to access support from other parents, trained volunteers and staff members. The sessions aim to support you to feel connected to your community and to share your experiences. Children aged 0-2yrs are welcome, and we also welcome expectant parents.

A friendly multiples peer support group, where everyone understands the additional challenges and joys of having twins, triplets or more. Open to parents and children up to 5 years.
